About Big Rock Resort

Once here you will see why we call Big Rock Resort a year round vacation retreat. We sit on 2.42 acres nestled in the Inyo National Forest, in the summer providing lake front cabins, a marina with boat and slip rentals, and a private beach area for our guest to enjoy.In the winter our guest take advantage of our warm and cozy cabins that are 1.5 miles from the best family mountain around and we are walking distance to June Lake Village.

Vacation activities include boating, fishing, kayaking and even paddle boating that can be enjoyed on four different lakes (June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, and Grant Lake). Hiking, horseback riding, and biking trails leading you to upper lakes that aren’t seen by everyone, adventures that meet your dreams, and exercise that will make you sore. Winter fun can be found on our June Mountain Ski Area, Smoky Bears Flats where you can rent a snowmobile or enjoy a dog sledding experience, sledding on surrounding hills, and acres and acres of cross country skiing.
